     Admiral Sir Compton Edward Domvile was born on 10 October 1842.¹ He was the son of Henry Barry Domvile and Frances Winnington-Ingram.^2,1 He married Isabella Peel, daughter of Lt. Col. Edmund Yates Peel and Maria Frances Knighton Chadwick, on 3 August 1876.¹ He died on 19 November 1924 at age 82.¹
     He was educated at Royal Academy School, Gosport, Hampshire, England^G.¹ In 1868 he served against pirates.¹ He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM Queen Victoria between 1888 and 1891.¹ He was member of the Ordnance Committee between 1890 and 1891.¹ He was Director of Naval Ordnance between 1891 and 1894.¹ He was 2nd in-charge of the Mediterranean Command between 1894 and 1896.¹ He was Superintendant of Naval Reserves between 1897 and 1902.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1898.¹ He was awarded the 1st Class in Brilliants of the Medjidie.¹ He fought in the Boer War.¹ He was Commander-in-Chief of the Mediterranean Station between 1902 and 1905.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.) in 1903.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) in 1904.¹ He retired from the military in 1905, with the rank of Admiral.¹ He was awarded the Order of the Redeemer of Greece.¹ He lived at Hove, Sussex, England^G.¹

     John Dudley Blois was born on 17 June 1915.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Dudley George Blois and Georgiana Isabella Frances Domvile.¹ He married Elizabeth Catharine Maxwell, daughter of Rear-Admiral Sir Wellwood George Courtenay Maxwell and Elizabeth Compton Cavendish, on 28 April 1948.¹ He died on 19 January 1954 at age 38.¹
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Irish Guards.¹ He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force Regiment.¹

     Elizabeth Catharine Maxwell was the daughter of Rear-Admiral Sir Wellwood George Courtenay Maxwell and Elizabeth Compton Cavendish.¹ She married John Dudley Blois, son of Lt.-Col. Dudley George Blois and Georgiana Isabella Frances Domvile, on 28 April 1948.¹ She died in 1993.¹
     From 28 April 1948, her married name became Blois.¹

     Hugh Campbell married Carol Patricia Blake, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Ian Francis Blake and Francis Jillian Barton, after 1982.¹

     Rear-Admiral Sir Wellwood George Courtenay Maxwell was the son of George Maxwell of Glenlee.² He married Elizabeth Compton Cavendish, daughter of Lt.-Col. Hon. William Edwin Cavendish and Elizabeth Janet Baillie, on 25 April 1917.² He died on 9 July 1965.²
     He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)² He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)² He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)¹ He lived at Sudborough Manor, Kettering, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Frances Moyra Blois was born on 29 May 1949.¹ She is the daughter of John Dudley Blois and Elizabeth Catharine Maxwell.¹
