     Mary Farrington was born in 1691.¹ She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Thomas Farrington and Theodosia Betenson.¹ She married Colonel John Selwyn, son of Colonel William Selwyn and Albinia Betenson, before 1709.² She died in 1777.¹
     Her married name became Selwyn.

     Thomas Farrington was the son of Maj.-Gen. Thomas Farrington and Theodosia Betenson.¹ He died in 1758.¹ He was buried at Chislehurst, Kent, England^G.¹

     Lady Elizabeth Goring was the daughter of George Goring, 1st Earl of Norwich and Mary Neville.¹ She married William Brereton, 2nd Baron Brereton of Leighlin, son of Sir John Brereton and Anne Fitton.¹ She died circa November 1687.¹ She was buried on 5 December 1687 at Brereton, Cheshire, England^G.²
     Her married name became Brereton.¹ After her marriage, Lady Elizabeth Goring was styled as Baroness Brereton of Leighlin on 1 October 1631.

     Charles Thompson was born circa 1819.² He married Caroline Shuttleworth, daughter of William Shuttleworth and Jane Thompson, in 1840. He died in 1853, from heart and lung disease.²

     Caroline Shuttleworth is the daughter of William Shuttleworth and Jane Thompson.¹ She married, firstly, Charles Thompson in 1840. She married, secondly, William Jeffries in 1861.¹
     From 1840, her married name became Thompson.¹ She emigrated arriving on 3 January 1856 on board Bank of New Zealand from England to Auckland.² From 1861, her married name became Jeffries.¹

     William Shuttleworth married Jane Thompson in 1818. He died before 1852.²

     From 1818, her married name became Shuttleworth.¹ She emigrated along with their children to New Plymouth, New Zealand^G, arriving on 3 January 1856 on board Bank of New Zealand from England to Auckland.²

     William Jeffries married Caroline Shuttleworth, daughter of William Shuttleworth and Jane Thompson, in 1861.¹

     George Rutherford was born circa 1805.² He was the son of John Rutherford and Jean McCurroch.¹ He married Barbara Adie, daughter of Moses Adie, on 18 November 1836 at Dundee, Angus, Scotland^G. He died in 1876.²
     He was a wright at Dundee, Angus, Scotland^G.³ He and Barbara Adie emigrated along with their children to Nelson, New Zealand^G, arriving on 29 March 1843 on board Phoebe.⁴

     Barbara Adie was born circa 1807 at Dundee, Angus, Scotland^G.^2,3 She was the daughter of Moses Adie.⁴ She married George Rutherford, son of John Rutherford and Jean McCurroch, on 18 November 1836 at Dundee, Angus, Scotland^G. She died on 15 December 1877.⁵
     From 18 November 1836, her married name became Rutherford.¹ She and George Rutherford emigrated along with their children to Nelson, New Zealand^G, arriving on 29 March 1843 on board Phoebe.⁶
