     Captain Desmond Clere Parsons was born on 2 February 1890.¹ He was the son of Hon. Richard Clere Parsons and Agnes Elizabeth Bateman.² He died on 15 September 1916 at age 26, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Irish Guards.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Clara Helena Strutt was born on 25 March 1888.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Edward Gerald Strutt and Maria Louisa Tufnell.² She married Lt.-Col. William Frederick Parsons, son of Hon. Richard Clere Parsons and Agnes Elizabeth Bateman, on 23 November 1915.¹ She died in 1972.²
     Her married name became Parsons.

     Desmond Richard Parsons was born on 26 August 1916.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Frederick Parsons and Clara Helena Strutt.¹ He died on 14 June 2008 at age 91.²
     Desmond Richard Parsons usually went by his middle name of Richard.¹ He was educated at Lancing College, Lancing, Sussex, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1938 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Essex Regiment.¹

     Nancy Olivia Parsons was born on 2 July 1919.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. William Frederick Parsons and Clara Helena Strutt.¹ She died on 8 February 2012 at age 92 at 61 St. George’s Square, London, England.²

     Doris Cookson was the daughter of Norman Charles Cookson.¹ She married Arthur David Clere Parsons, son of Hon. Richard Clere Parsons and Agnes Elizabeth Bateman, on 28 April 1914.¹ She died on 27 November 1970.¹
     Her married name became Parsons.

     Arthur Christopher Parsons was born on 2 June 1919.² He was the son of Arthur David Clere Parsons and Doris Cookson.² He married Veronica Rosetta de Courcy Glover, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Guy de Courcy Glover, on 16 April 1945.² He died on 24 October 1999 at age 80.²
     Arthur Christopher Parsons usually went by his middle name of Christopher.² He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.² He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.² He fought in the Second World War.² He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.² He lived at Hatchwood House, Odiham, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Norman Charles Parsons was born on 9 February 1925.¹ He is the son of Arthur David Clere Parsons and Doris Cookson.² He married Katherine Alison Gardiner, daughter of Colonel Henry Hamilton Gardiner, on 7 February 1953.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He lived in 2003 at Pigdon House, Morpeth, Northumberland, England.¹

     Theodora Phoebe Parsons was born on 26 June 1915.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur David Clere Parsons and Doris Cookson.² She married Lt.-Cdr. James Bertram Everard Wainwright, son of Dr. George Bertram Wainwright, on 23 September 1939.¹ She died on 4 October 2004 at age 89.³
     Her married name became Wainwright. She lived in 2003 at Sycamore, Shamley Green, Surrey, England.¹

     Rosalind Doris Parsons was born on 27 July 1916.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur David Clere Parsons and Doris Cookson.² She died on 1 July 1917.¹

     Phyllis Rosemary Parsons was born on 8 April 1918.² She was the daughter of Arthur David Clere Parsons and Doris Cookson.² She married, firstly, Ian Stanley Akers-Douglas, son of George Alexander Akers-Douglas and Doris Christopherson, on 12 July 1945.¹ She married, secondly, Major John Anthony Cobham Shaw, son of Captain John Leslie Morton Shaw, on 9 October 1965.¹ She died in July 2000 at age 82.²
     From 12 July 1945, her married name became Akers-Douglas. From 9 October 1965, her married name became Shaw.¹ She lived at 1 Garden Cottages, Amesbury Abbey, Amesbury, Wiltshire, England^G.¹
