Eric Alexander Akers-Douglas, 3rd Viscount Chilston was born on 17 December 1910.1 He was the son of Aretas Akers-Douglas, 2nd Viscount Chilston and Amy Jennings-Bramly.2 He married Marion Howard, daughter of Captain Charles William Howard, on 15 February 1955.1 He died on 10 April 1982 at age 71, without issue.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Douglas of Baads, co.
