     Isobella Boyd is the daughter of Reverend Andrew Boyd and Margaret Boyd.¹ She married Alexander Broun.¹
     Her married name became Broun.¹

     Alexander Broun married Isobella Boyd, daughter of Reverend Andrew Boyd and Margaret Boyd.¹
     He was Portioner of Newtown, Dumfries and later of Langlands.¹

     Andrew Boyd was born on 21 August 1763.¹ He was the son of Rev. Dr. William Boyd of Myrton and Joanna Maitland.¹ He died before July 1787.¹

     John Boyd was born on 21 July 1765.¹ He was the son of Rev. Dr. William Boyd of Myrton and Joanna Maitland.¹ He died before 1794, without issue.¹

     James Boyd was born on 12 March 1767.¹ He was the son of Rev. Dr. William Boyd of Myrton and Joanna Maitland.¹ He died, in infancy.¹
