     Catherine Vincent was born on 30 May 1737 at St. Mary, County Limerick, Ireland^G.² She was the daughter of Thomas Vincent.¹ She married, firstly, Captain Wittewronge Taylor, son of Reverend Thomas Taylor and Mary Wittewronge, on 28 September 1756.³ She married, secondly, Vice-Admiral Philip Durell, son of John Durell and Elizabeth Corbet, in 1761.^1,2 She married, thirdly, Sir Frederick Rogers, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Rogers, 2nd Bt. and Mary Henley, on 17 May 1768 at Stoke Damerel, Devon, England^G.¹ She died between February 1803 and July 1803.¹ Her will (dated 22 February 1803) was proven (by probate) on 7 July 1803.¹
     From 28 September 1756, her married name became Taylor.⁴ From 1761, her married name became Durell.¹ From 17 May 1768, her married name became Rogers.¹

     Thomas Vincent lived at Plymouth, Devon, England^G.¹

     Vice-Admiral Philip Durell was born in 1707 at St. Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands.² He was the son of John Durell and Elizabeth Corbet.² He was baptised on 25 May 1707 at St. Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands.² He married, firstly, Madeleine Sausmarez, daughter of Matthew de Sausmarez and Anne Durell.³ He married, thirdly, Catherine Vincent, daughter of Thomas Vincent, in 1761.^1,4 He died on 23 August 1766, at sea, after eating dolphin.⁴ He was buried on 27 August 1766 at St. Paul’s Church, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada^G.²
     He was commissioned in 1721 with the rank of ordinary seaman, in the service of the Royal Navy on H.M.S. Sea Horse.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1731.² He gained the rank of Post Captain on 6 February 1742/43.² He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral on 8 July 1758.² He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral of the Red on 14 February 1759.² He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral of the Blue on 21 October 1762.² He was Commander-in-Chief of the North America station in 1766.²

     Sir Frederick Rogers, 5th Bt. was born on 23 July 1746 at Plymouth, Devon, England^G.¹ He was the son of Sir Frederick Rogers, 4th Bt. and Grace Cooper.¹ He married Jane Lillicrap, daughter of John Lillicrap, on 21 December 1769 at Gretna Green, Dumfries-shire, Scotland^G, in a civil marriage.¹ Frederick and Jane were also married in a religious ceremony on 27 June 1770 at Plymouth St. Maurice, Devon, England^G.¹ He died on 21 June 1797 at age 50 at Speenhamland, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was buried at Cornwood, Devon, England^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) on 5 December 1798.¹
     He held the office of Recorder of Plymouth.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Rogers, of Wisdome, co. Devon [E., 1699] on 7 June 1777.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Plymouth between May 1780 and 1784.¹ His last will was dated 22 November 1783. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Plymouth between 1790 and 1797.¹ He lived at Blachford, Cornwood, Devon, England^G.¹

     Jane Lillicrap was the daughter of John Lillicrap.¹ She married Sir Frederick Rogers, 5th Bt., son of Sir Frederick Rogers, 4th Bt. and Grace Cooper, on 21 December 1769 at Gretna Green, Dumfries-shire, Scotland^G, in a civil marriage.¹ Jane and Frederick were also married in a religious ceremony on 27 June 1770 at Plymouth St. Maurice, Devon, England^G.¹ She died on 10 October 1800 at Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ She was buried on 16 October 1800 at Cornwood, Devon, England^G.¹ Her will (dated 26 October 1797) was proven (by probate) on 11 November 1801.¹
     From 21 December 1769, her married name became Rogers.¹

     John Lillicrap gained the rank of Warrant Officer at Gibraltar^G.¹ He lived at Stoke Damerel, Devon, England^G.¹
