Gerald Hugh Tyrwhitt-Wilson, 14th Lord Berners1 
He was given the name of Gerald Hugh Tyrwhitt at birth.1 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was Hon. Attaché to Constantinople and Rome between 1912 and 1919.2 He succeeded as the 14th Lord Berners [E., 1455] on 5 September 1918.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Tyrwhitt-Jones, of Stanley Hall, Shropshire [U.K., 1808] on 5 September 1918.2 On 31 March 1919 his name was legally changed to Gerald Hugh Tyrwhitt-Wilson by Royal Licence.1 He wrote the book First Childhood, published 1934.2 He wrote the book The Camel, published 1936.2 He wrote the book The Girls of Radcliffe Hall, published 1937.2 He wrote the book Count Omega, published 1941.2 He wrote the book Percy Wallingford and Mr. Pidger, published 1941.2 He wrote the book Far From the Madding War, published 1941.2 He wrote the book The Romance of a Nose, published 1942.2 He wrote the book A Distant Prospect, published 1945.2 He was a composer, including the opera La Carosse du Saint Sacrement (1923), the ballets Triumph of Neptune (1926), Lunar Park (1930), A Wedding Bouquet (1937), Cupid (1939), Pysche (1939) and Les Sirènes (1946), as well as the music for the film The Half-Way House (1944.)2
On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.2
