Sir Thomas Beecham, 2nd Bt.1 
Sir Thomas Beecham, 2nd Bt. was born on 29 April 1879.1 He was the son of Sir Joseph Beecham, 1st Bt. and Josephine Burnett.1 He married, firstly, Utica Welles, daughter of Dr. Charles J. Stuart Welles and Ella Celeste Miles, on 27 July 1903.1 He and Utica Welles were divorced in 1943 at U.S.A.G.1 He married, secondly, Betty Humby, daughter of Daniel Morgan Humby, in February 1943.1 He married, thirdly, Shirley Jean Hudson, daughter of Albert George Hudson, on 10 August 1959.1 He died on 8 March 1961 at age 81.1
He was educated at Rossall School, Fleetwood, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Wadham College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was appointed Knight in 1916.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Beecham, of Ewanville, Huyston, co. Lancaster [U.K., 1914] on 23 October 1916.1 He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1930 with a honorary Doctor of Music (D.Mus.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Music (F.R.C.M.) in 1934.1 He graduated from University of Manchester, Manchester, Lancashire, EnglandG, in 1937 with a honorary Doctor of Music (D.Mus.)1 He graduated from Birmingham University, Birmingham, Warwickshire, EnglandG, in 1939 with a honorary Master of Music.1 He was awarded the Gold Medal of the Royal Philharmonic Society.1 He was appointed Companion of Honour (C.H.) in 1957.1 He was a conductor and composer.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.3

Sir Adrian Welles Beecham, 3rd Bt. was born on 3 September 1904.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Beecham, 2nd Bt. and Utica Welles.1 He married Barbara Joyce Cairn, daughter of Edward Cohen and Emma Manasseh, on 9 February 1939.1 He died in 1982.1
He graduated from Durham University, Durham, County Durham, EnglandG, in 1926 with a Bachelor of Music (Mus.B.)1 He was a composer of songs and choral works.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Beecham, of Ewanville, Huyston, co. Lancaster [U.K., 1914] on 8 March 1961.1
