     Mary Miller was the daughter of Sir John Miller, 4th Bt. and Susan Combe.^1,2 She married Henry William Wilson, son of Henry Wilson and Elizabeth Knyvett, on 20 May 1757.^3,4
     From 20 May 1757, her married name became Wilson.¹

     Constance Gillean Mitford was born on 30 April 1920.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Philip Mitford and Alice Constance Mary Fowler.¹ She married Sir Charles Hugh Willis Troughton.¹
     Her married name became Troughton.¹

     Colonel Robert Wilson, 9th Lord Berners was baptised on 20 January 1761.¹ He was the son of Henry William Wilson and Mary Miller.¹ He died on 25 March 1838 at age 77, unmarried.¹ His will was proven (by probate) in May 1838.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the British Army.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Lord Berners [E., 1455] on 7 May 1832, after the abeyance was terminated in his favour.¹ He was Master of the Foxhounds.² He lived at Ashwellthorpe, Norfolk, England^G.² In 1837 he won the Derby, with his horse Phosphorus, at odds of 40-1.² He lived at Didlington Hall, Norfolk, England^G.²

     Elizabeth Sumpter was born circa 1763.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Sumpter.¹ She married Henry Wilson, 10th Lord Berners, son of Henry William Wilson and Mary Miller, on 1 May 1788.¹ She died on 15 December 1845 at Kirby Cane, Norfolk, England^G.¹
     From 1 May 1788, her married name became Wilson.¹

     Thomas Sumpter lived at Histon Hall, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹

     Mary Letitia Crump was born on 25 March 1800.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel George Crump and Mary Wilson.¹ She married Henry William Wilson, 11th Lord Berners, son of Henry Wilson, 10th Lord Berners and Elizabeth Sumpter, on 24 February 1823.¹ She died on 30 September 1856 at age 56 at Keythorpe Hall, Leicestershire, England^G, without issue.¹
     From 24 February 1823, her married name became Wilson.¹

     Colonel George Crump lived at Alexton Hall, Leicestershire, England^G.¹

Robert Wilson was born on 1 September 1801.² He was the son of Henry Wilson, 10th Lord Berners and Elizabeth Sumpter.¹ He married, firstly, Emma Anne Pigott, daughter of William Pigott and Anne King, on 18 May 1826.² He married, secondly, Harriet Crump, daughter of Colonel George Crump, on 13 April 1832.^1,2 He died on 10 December 1850 at age 49.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He graduated from Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1823 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He graduated from Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1829 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was the Rector between 1829 and 1850 at Ashwellthorpe, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Harriet Crump was the daughter of Colonel George Crump.¹ She married, firstly, John Sheppard before 1832.² She married, secondly, Reverend Hon. Robert Wilson, son of Henry Wilson, 10th Lord Berners and Elizabeth Sumpter, on 13 April 1832.^1,2 She married, thirdly, Very Rev. Edward Newenham Hoare, son of Reverend John Hoare and Rachael Newenham, on 28 June 1859.² She died on 3 September 1881.²
     From before 1832, her married name became Sheppard.² From 13 April 1832, her married name became Wilson.¹ From 28 June 1859, her married name became Hoare.²
