Limerick [I., 1776] on 15 February 1796.2 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Southwell of Castle Mattress, co. Limerick [I., 1717] on 15 February 1796.2 He was appointed Knight, Order of St. Patrick (K.P.) in 1837.2
