     Catherine Dorothy Meynell was born in 1768.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Meynell and Dorothy Cory.¹ She married Simon Thomas Scrope, son of Simon Scrope, on 3 March 1789.² She died in 1838.¹
     From 3 March 1789, her married name became Scrope.¹

     Edward Meynell lived at Yarm, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Kilvington, Thirsk, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Simon Thomas Scrope was baptised on 17 April 1790.² He was the son of Simon Thomas Scrope and Catherine Dorothy Meynell.¹ He married Mary Jones, daughter of John Jones and Harriett Plunkett, on 25 June 1821.² He died on 1 October 1872 at age 82.²

     Mary Jones was born in 1794 at Llanarth, Monmouthshire, Wales^G.¹ She was the daughter of John Jones and Harriett Plunkett.¹ She married Simon Thomas Scrope, son of Simon Thomas Scrope and Catherine Dorothy Meynell, on 25 June 1821.² She died in 1830.¹
     From 25 June 1821, her married name became Scrope.¹

     John Jones lived at Ufton Court, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Llanarth Court, Monmouthshire, Wales^G.¹

     Simon Thomas Scrope was born on 27 April 1822 at Danby Hall, Danby, Yorkshire, England^G.^2,3 He was the son of Simon Thomas Scrope and Mary Jones.² He was baptised at Llanarth, Monmouthshire, Wales^G.² He married Emily Jane Berkeley, daughter of Robert Berkeley and Henrietta Sophia Benfield, on 31 October 1855.¹ He died on 4 March 1896 at age 73.¹
     He lived at Danby Hall, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)²

     Jane Compton was the daughter of Sir William Compton, 3rd Bt. and unknown Holder.^1,2 She married John Berkeley, son of Thomas Berkeley and Mary Davis.¹
     Her married name became Berkeley.¹
