     George Augustus Frederick Baillie was born on 31 July 1833.1 He was the son of Sir William Baillie of Polkemmet, 1st Bt. and Mary Lyon Dennistoun.1 He married Mary Gertrude Sadler, daughter of Captain Benjamin Peyton Sadler, on 16 February 1871.1 He died on 7 April 1882 at age 48.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Haddington Artillery Militia.1

Mary Gertrude Sadler1

     Mary Gertrude Sadler was the daughter of Captain Benjamin Peyton Sadler.1 She married George Augustus Frederick Baillie, son of Sir William Baillie of Polkemmet, 1st Bt. and Mary Lyon Dennistoun, on 16 February 1871.1 She died on 6 November 1922.1
     From 16 February 1871, her married name became Baillie.1

     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Scots Fusiliers.1 He fought in the Boer War.
