Edward Henry Lancelot Aubrey-Fletcher was born on 6 May 1930.¹ He is the son of Sir Henry Lancelot Aubrey-Fletcher, 6th Bt. and Mary Augusta Chilton.¹ He married, firstly, Bridget Mary Floyd, daughter of Brigadier Sir Henry Robert Kincaid Floyd, 5th Bt. and Hon. Kathleen Fanny Gretton, on 11 March 1953.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Penelope Verney-Cave, Baroness Braye, daughter of Thomas Adrian Verney-Cave, 7th Lord Braye and Dorothea Donoghue, in 1981.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated in 1950 at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1952 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Northamptonshire.¹ He lived in 2003 at Stanford Hall, Lutterworth, England^G.¹

     Bridget Mary Floyd was born on 3 October 1930.² She was the daughter of Brigadier Sir Henry Robert Kincaid Floyd, 5th Bt. and Hon. Kathleen Fanny Gretton.^1,2 She married Lt.-Col. Edward Henry Lancelot Aubrey-Fletcher, son of Sir Henry Lancelot Aubrey-Fletcher, 6th Bt. and Mary Augusta Chilton, on 11 March 1953.¹ She died on 6 January 1977 at age 46.³
     From 11 March 1953, her married name became Aubrey-Fletcher.¹

     Brigadier Sir Henry Robert Kincaid Floyd, 5th Bt. was born on 7 May 1899.² He was the son of Captain Sir Henry Robert Peel Floyd, 4th Bt. and Edith Anne Kincaid-Smith.² He married Hon. Kathleen Fanny Gretton, daughter of John Gretton, 1st Baron Gretton and Hon. Maud Helen Eveleigh-de Moleyns, on 9 April 1929.² He died on 5 November 1968 at age 69, following a riding accident.²
