     Cecilia Harriet Walmesley was the daughter of William Gerard Walmesley and Caroline de Trafford.1,2 She married Alfred Thomas Townshend Verney-Cave, 5th Lord Braye, son of Reverend Edgell Wyatt-Edgell and Henrietta Otway-Cave, Baroness Braye, on 9 September 1873.1 She died on 25 November 1935.3
     From 9 September 1873, her married name became Wyatt-Edgell.1 After her marriage, Cecilia Harriet Walmesley was styled as Baroness Braye on 14 November 1879. From 5 February 1880, her married name became Verney-Cave.

     William Gerard Walmesley was born on 12 July 1808.2 He was the son of Charles Walmesley.2 He married Caroline de Trafford, daughter of Sir Thomas Joseph de Trafford, 1st Bt. and Laura Anne Colman, on 18 October 1838. He died in 1868.2

     Adrian Verney Verney-Cave, 6th Lord Braye was born on 11 October 1874.1 He was the son of Alfred Thomas Townshend Verney-Cave, 5th Lord Braye and Cecilia Harriet Walmesley.1 He married Ethel Mary Bouverie-Pusey, daughter of Captain Edward Bouverie-Pusey and Esther Elliot Hales, on 28 August 1900 at Roman Catholic Church, St. James’s, Spanish Place, Manchester Square, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 12 February 1952 at age 77.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.3 He succeeded as the 6th Lord Braye [E., 1529] on 1 July 1928.2

     Captain Edward Bouverie-Pusey was born on 12 June 1838.2 He was the son of Reverend William Bouverie-Pusey and Catherine Freeman.2 He married Esther Elliot Hales, daughter of Reverend Richard Cox Hales, on 25 June 1870.2 He died on 13 February 1921 at age 82.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.2

     Thomas Adrian Verney-Cave, 7th Lord Braye was born on 26 July 1902.1 He was the son of Adrian Verney Verney-Cave, 6th Lord Braye and Ethel Mary Bouverie-Pusey.1 He married Dorothea Donoghue, daughter of Daniel Charles Donoghue, on 3 February 1934.1 He died on 19 December 1985 at age 83.1
     He was educated at Oratory School, South Kensington, London, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Major in the 13th/8th Royal Hussars.2 He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the Royal Air Force.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He was with the staff of HRH the Prince of the Netherlands between 1945 and 1946.2 He was awarded the Order of Orange-Nassau of the Netherlands.2 He succeeded as the 7th Lord Braye [E., 1529] on 12 February 1952.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Leicestershire in 1953.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Leicestershire in 1954.2
