     John Rudolf Astor was born in 1881.¹ He was the son of William Waldorf Astor, 1st Viscount Astor and Mary Dahlgren Paul.¹ He died, young.¹

     Gwendolyn Enid Astor was born in 1889.¹ She was the daughter of William Waldorf Astor, 1st Viscount Astor and Mary Dahlgren Paul.¹ She died in 1902, from tuberculosis.¹
