     He gained the rank of Captain in the Spanish Army.¹

     Robert Abercromby was born in 1753.¹ He was the son of George Abercromby and unknown Ingleby.¹ He died in 1763.¹

     Mary Luisa Abercromby was born in 1748.¹ She was the daughter of George Abercromby and unknown Ingleby.¹

     Grace Abercromby is the daughter of Sir George Abercromby of Birkenbog, 4th Bt. and Hon. Jane Ogilvy.¹ She married Joseph Murray, son of Alexander Murray and Mary Ogilvy, in 1823.¹ She died on 29 July 1876.²
     From 1823, her married name became Murray.¹

     Joseph Murray was born on 25 April 1786.² He is the son of Alexander Murray and Mary Ogilvy.² He married Grace Abercromby, daughter of Sir George Abercromby of Birkenbog, 4th Bt. and Hon. Jane Ogilvy, in 1823.¹ He died on 17 June 1876 at age 90.²
     He lived at Ayton, Berwickshire, Scotland.²

     Eleanor Anderson is the daughter of Sir Arthur Robert Anderson.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Sir George William Abercromby of Birkenbog, 8th Bt., son of Sir Robert John Abercromby of Birkenbog, 7th Bt. and Florence Anita Eyre Coote, on 17 January 1935.¹
     From 17 January 1935, her married name became Abercromby.¹

     Sir Arthur Robert Anderson lived at Roffey Place, Horsham, Surrey, England^G.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.)¹
