G. Haigh, published 1953.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1958 in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.3 He was Home Secretary’s Commissioner for Ward-Boundaries between 1960 and 1970.3 He held the office of Recorder of Hastings between 1961 and 1971.3 He wrote the book Butler Family History, published 1966.3 He was admitted to King’s Inns Dublin in 1966.3 He was president of the Wireless Telegraphy Appeal Tribunal of England and Wales between 1967 and 1970.3 He was president of the Irish Genealogical Research Society between 1971 and 1991.3 He held the office of Circuit Court Judge for Inner London between 1972 and 1986.3 He was awarded the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers’ Decoration (V.R.D.) in 1987.2 He lived in 2003 at 36 Ormonde Gate, London, EnglandG.2 He lived in 2003 at The Tallat, West Ilkerton Farm, Lynton, Devon, EnglandG.3
