     Sabine Markgräfin von Brandenburg-Ansbach was born in 1529.¹ She was the daughter of Georg Markgraf von Brandenburg-Ansbach and Hedwig Prinzessin von Munsterberg.¹ She married Johann Georg Kurfürst von Brandenburg, son of Joachim II Hector Kurfürst von Brandenburg and Magdalen Prinzessin von Sachsen, in 1548.¹ She died in 1575.¹
     She gained the title of Markgräfin von Brandenburg-Ansbach.

     Georg Markgraf von Brandenburg-Ansbach was born on 4 March 1484 at Auspach^G. He was the son of Friedrich V Markgraf von Brandenburg-Ansbach and Zofia Jagiellon, Królewna Polska. He married, firstly, Beatrice de Frangepan in 1509. He married, secondly, Hedwig Prinzessin von Munsterberg in 1525. He married, thirdly, Aemilia Prinzessin von Sachsen, daughter of Heinrich Herzog von Sachsen and Catherine von Mecklenburg, on 25 August 1533. He died on 27 December 1543 at age 59 at Auspach^G.
     He gained the title of Herzog von Ansbach.¹ Georg Markgraf von Brandenburg-Ansbach also went by the nick-name of Georg ‘the Good’.

     Sophie von Hohenzollern was born on 6 June 1568 at Zechlin^G. She was the daughter of Johann Georg Kurfürst von Brandenburg and Sabine Markgräfin von Brandenburg-Ansbach.¹ She married Christian I Kurfürst von Sachsen, son of August Kurfürst von Sachsen and Anne Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark, on 25 April 1582. She died in 1622.¹ She was buried on 7 December 1622.

     Christian I Kurfürst von Sachsen was born on 29 October 1560. He was the son of August Kurfürst von Sachsen and Anne Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark.³ He married Sophie von Hohenzollern, daughter of Johann Georg Kurfürst von Brandenburg and Sabine Markgräfin von Brandenburg-Ansbach, on 25 April 1582. He died on 25 September 1591 at age 30.
     He was a member of the House of Wettin.³ He succeeded as the Kurfürst von Sachsen in 1586.¹

     Elisabeth Prinzessin von Anhalt-Zerbst was born on 25 September 1563 at Zerbst^G. She was the daughter of Joachim Ernst Prinz von Anhalt-Zerbst and Agnes Gräfin von Barby-Muhlingen.¹ She married Johann Georg Kurfürst von Brandenburg, son of Joachim II Hector Kurfürst von Brandenburg and Magdalen Prinzessin von Sachsen, on 8 October 1577. She died on 8 October 1607 at age 44 at Berlin, Germany^G.
     She gained the title of Prinzessin von Anhalt-Zerbst.

     Joachim Ernst Prinz von Anhalt-Zerbst was born on 21 October 1536 at Dessau, Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany^G. He was the son of Johann VII Prinz von Anhalt-Zerbst and Margarete Prinzessin von Brandenburg. He married, firstly, Agnes Gräfin von Barby-Muhlingen on 3 March 1560. He married, secondly, Eleanor Herzogin von Württemberg, daughter of Christoph Herzog von Württemberg and Anna Maria von Hohenzollern, on 9 January 1571. He died on 6 December 1586 at age 50 at Dessau, Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany^G.
     He succeeded as the Prinz von Anhalt-Zerbst on 4 February 1551.¹ He was created Prinz von Anhalt on 1 March 1570.

     Magdalen Prinzessin von Sachsen was born on 7 March 1507. She was the daughter of Georg Herzog von Sachsen and Barbara Jagiellon.¹ She married Joachim II Hector Kurfürst von Brandenburg, son of Joachim I Nestor Kurfürst von Brandenburg and Elizabeth Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark, on 6 November 1524. She died on 28 December 1534 at age 27.

     Georg Herzog von Sachsen was born on 27 August 1471. He was the son of Albrecht I Herzog von Sachsen and Sidonia of Bohemia.² He married Barbara Jagiellon, daughter of Casimir IV Jagiellon, King of Poland and Elisabeth von Habsburg, on 21 November 1496. He died on 17 April 1539 at age 67.
     Georg Herzog von Sachsen also went by the nick-name of Georg ‘the Bearded’.² Georg Herzog von Sachsen also went by the nick-name of Georg ‘the Rich’. He succeeded as the Herzog von Sachsen in 1500.^1,2

     Barbara von Hohenzollern was born in 1527.¹ She was the daughter of Joachim II Hector Kurfürst von Brandenburg and Magdalen Prinzessin von Sachsen.¹ She married Georg II Herzog von Liegnitz in 1545.¹ She died in 1595.¹

     Georg II Herzog von Liegnitz was born in 1523.¹ He married Barbara von Hohenzollern, daughter of Joachim II Hector Kurfürst von Brandenburg and Magdalen Prinzessin von Sachsen, in 1545.¹ He died in 1586.¹
