     Hester Eliza Fardell was the daughter of Reverend Henry Fardell.¹ She married Rev. Hon. Charles Frederic Octavius Spencer, son of Francis Almeric Spencer, 1st Baron Churchill of Whichwood and Lady Frances FitzRoy, on 17 June 1847.¹ She died on 5 March 1905.¹
     From 17 June 1847, her married name became Spencer.

     Reverend Henry Fardell was the Vicar at Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Canon of Ely Cathedral.¹

     Lt.-Col. Charles Henry Francis Spencer was born on 11 June 1848.¹ He was the son of Rev. Hon. Charles Frederic Octavius Spencer and Hester Eliza Fardell.¹ He married Emily Lydia Ball, daughter of William Walker Ball, on 17 March 1879.¹ He died on 30 July 1922 at age 74.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.¹

     Emily Lydia Ball was the daughter of William Walker Ball.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Charles Henry Francis Spencer, son of Rev. Hon. Charles Frederic Octavius Spencer and Hester Eliza Fardell, on 17 March 1879.¹ She died on 14 December 1941.¹
     From 17 March 1879, her married name became Spencer.

     Evelyn Margaret Crawford was born circa 1921.² She was the daughter of George Robert Crawford.¹ She married Major Patrick Charles Arbuthnot, son of Lt.-Col. Archibald Hugh Arbuthnot and Gertrude Alice Green, on 15 October 1952.¹ She died on 27 September 2015.²
     She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)¹ She graduated with a Bachelor of Surgery (Ch.B.)¹ She graduated with a Diploma in Child Heath (D.C.H.)¹ From 15 October 1952, her married name became Arbuthnot.¹ She lived in 2003 at Quay Head, Sampford Peverell, Devon, England^G.¹

     Colonel Francis Elmhirst Spencer was born on 25 July 1881.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Charles Henry Francis Spencer and Emily Lydia Ball.¹ He married Augusta Tracey, daughter of Colonel Arthur Tracey, on 26 February 1916.¹ He died on 6 March 1972 at age 90 at Underhill House, Lympstone, Exmouth, Devon, England.^1,2
     He was educated at Dover College, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹ In 1900 he served in China.¹ In 1904 he served in the Tibet Expedition and the occupation of Lhasa.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918, where he was mentioned in despatches five times.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1916.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.¹ He was Brigadier of the the Western Command between 1934 and 1938.¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945.¹

     Augusta Tracey was the daughter of Colonel Arthur Tracey.¹ She married Colonel Francis Elmhirst Spencer, son of Lt.-Col. Charles Henry Francis Spencer and Emily Lydia Ball, on 26 February 1916.¹ She died on 18 December 1956.¹
     From 26 February 1916, her married name became Spencer.

     Colonel Arthur Tracey died before 1963.
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Captain Francis Tracey Spencer was born on 27 January 1917.¹ He was the son of Colonel Francis Elmhirst Spencer and Augusta Tracey.¹ He married Reverend Diana Margaret Colton Haines, daughter of Dennis Haines, on 12 May 1962.¹ He died in 1989.¹
     He was educated at Blundell’s School, Tiverton, Devon, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Yorkshire and Lancashire Regiment.¹

     Reverend Diana Margaret Colton Haines is the daughter of Dennis Haines.¹ She married Captain Francis Tracey Spencer, son of Colonel Francis Elmhirst Spencer and Augusta Tracey, on 12 May 1962.¹
     From 12 May 1962, her married name became Spencer. She lived in 1999 at 3013 Jasette Place, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada^G.¹
