     Lady Frances FitzRoy was born on 1 June 1780.² She was the daughter of Augustus Henry Fitzroy, 3rd Duke of Grafton and Elizabeth Wrottesley.^1,2 She married Francis Almeric Spencer, 1st Baron Churchill of Whichwood, son of George Spencer, 4th Duke of Marlborough and Lady Caroline Russell, on 25 November 1801 at Euston, Suffolk, England^G.² She died on 7 January 1866 at age 85 at Ranger’s Lodge, Charlbury, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹
     From 25 November 1801, her married name became Spencer. After her marriage, Lady Frances FitzRoy was styled as Baroness Churchill of Whichwood on 11 August 1815.

     Augustus Henry Fitzroy, 3rd Duke of Grafton was born on 28 September 1735.³ He was the son of Captain Lord Augustus Fitzroy and Elizabeth Cosby.³ He married, firstly, Hon. Anne Liddell, daughter of Henry Liddell, 1st Lord Ravensworth, Baron of Ravensworth Castle and Anne Delmé, on 29 January 1756 at London, England^G.³ He and Hon. Anne Liddell were divorced on 23 March 1769.³ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Wrottesley, daughter of Rev. Sir Richard Wrottesley, 7th Bt. and Lady Mary Leveson-Gower, on 24 June 1769 at Woburn Abbey, Bedfordshire, England^G.³ He died on 14 March 1811 at age 75.

     Francis George Spencer, 2nd Baron Churchill of Whichwood was born on 6 October 1802 at Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of Francis Almeric Spencer, 1st Baron Churchill of Whichwood and Lady Frances FitzRoy.² He married Lady Jane Conyngham, daughter of General Sir Francis Nathaniel Conyngham, 2nd Marquess Conyngham and Lady Jane Paget, on 19 May 1849 at Bifrons, Kent, England^G.¹ He died on 24 November 1886 at age 84 at 32 Albemarle Street, London, England^G.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 10 April 1821.¹ He held the office of Attaché at Austria between 1823 and 1928.¹ He held the office of Attaché at Lisbon in 1828.¹ He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 11 June 1834 with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Churchill of Whichwood, co.      Lt.-Col. Hon. George Augustus Spencer was born on 6 February 1804.¹ He was the son of Francis Almeric Spencer, 1st Baron Churchill of Whichwood and Lady Frances FitzRoy.¹ He married Charlotte Munro, daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Munro, on 17 January 1834.¹ He died on 18 January 1877 at age 72.¹

     Charlotte Munro was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Munro.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Hon. George Augustus Spencer, son of Francis Almeric Spencer, 1st Baron Churchill of Whichwood and Lady Frances FitzRoy, on 17 January 1834.¹ She died on 18 June 1875.¹
     From 17 January 1834, her married name became Spencer.

     Maj.-Gen. John Munro lived at Teaninich, Alness, Ross-shire, Scotland^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. John Winston Thomas Munro-Spencer was born on 27 September 1849.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. George Augustus Spencer and Charlotte Munro.¹ He married, firstly, Synolda Ellen Le Petit Butler, daughter of James William Fitzgerald Butler and Ada Gwynne, on 17 January 1884.¹ He married, secondly, Helen Ewing, daughter of Alexander Crum Ewing, on 31 October 1899.¹ He died on 27 November 1916 at age 67.¹
     He was given the name of John Winston Thomas Spencer at birth.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel and Brevet in the Royal Artillery.¹ In 1911 his name was legally changed to John Winston Thomas Munro-Spencer.¹

     Synolda Ellen Le Petit Butler was the daughter of James William Fitzgerald Butler and Ada Gwynne.^1,2 She married Lt.-Col. John Winston Thomas Munro-Spencer, son of Lt.-Col. Hon. George Augustus Spencer and Charlotte Munro, on 17 January 1884.¹ She died on 4 November 1890.¹
     From 17 January 1884, her married name became Spencer.

     James William Fitzgerald Butler was born on 10 October 1837.² He was also reported to have been born on 6 November 1836.³ He was the son of Hon. James Butler and Emilia Mary FitzGerald.^1,2 He married Ada Gwynne, daughter of Lawrence Gwynne, on 4 May 1858.² He died on 12 May 1873 at age 35.²
     He gained the rank of officer in the 72nd Highlanders.²

     Colonel Henry Morgan Clifford married Catherine Harriett Yorke, daughter of Joseph Yorke and Catherine Cocks, on 12 August 1834.¹ He died on 12 February 1884.¹
     He lived at Llantillo, Monmouthshire, Wales^G.²
