He was appointed Knight in 1426.2 He succeeded as the 10th Lord Segrave [E., 1295] on 19 October 1432.2 He succeeded as the 9th Lord Mowbray [E., 1295] on 19 October 1432.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Duke of Norfolk [E., 1397] on 19 October 1432.3 He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Nottingham [E., 1383] on 19 October 1432.2 He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Norfolk [E., 1312] on 19 October 1432.2 He was appointed Priv Counsellor (P.C.) before April 1437.2 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) in 1451.2 Between February 1455 and 1460/61 he was a Lancastrian, then became a Yorkist.2 He fought in the Battle of Towton on 29 March 1461.2
