     William de Stourton was born in 1375.2 He was the son of John de Stourton and Lettice (?)1 He married Elizabeth Moigne, daughter of Sir John Moigne and Joan Belvale, before 1398.1 He died on 18 September 1413.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) between 1382 and 1413.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Somerset and Wiltshire in 1401.1 He was Speaker elect, House of Commons, but did not take up the post due to physical incapacity in 1413.1
