     Elizabeth Mowbray was born in 1823.² She was the daughter of George Isaac Mowbray and Elizabeth Gray.³ She married Sir John Robert Mowbray, 1st Bt., son of Robert Stirling Cornish and Marianne Powning, on 19 August 1847.¹ She died on 22 April 1899.¹

     Sir John Robert Mowbray, 1st Bt. was born on 3 June 1815.¹ He was the son of Robert Stirling Cornish and Marianne Powning.¹ He married Elizabeth Mowbray, daughter of George Isaac Mowbray and Elizabeth Gray, on 19 August 1847.¹ He died on 16 February 1899 at age 83.¹
     He was given the name of John Robert Cornish at birth.¹ He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)¹ On 26 July 1847 his name was legally changed to John Robert Mowbray by Royal Licence.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Durham between 1853 and 1868.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Durham.¹ He held the office of Judge-Advocate General between 1858 and 1859.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Berkshire.¹ He held the office of Judge-Advocate General between 1866 and 1868.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Oxford University between 1868 and 1899.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Durham.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Mowbray, of Mortimer, Berks and Bishopwearmouth, co. Durham [U.K.] on 3 May 1880.¹

     Sir Robert Gray Cornish Mowbray, 2nd Bt. was born on 21 May 1850.¹ He was the son of Sir John Robert Mowbray, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Mowbray.² He died on 23 July 1916 at age 66, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Prestwich between 1886 and 1895.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Berkshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Berkshire.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Mowbray, of Mortimer, Berks and Bishopwearmouth, co. Durham [U.K., 1880] on 16 February 1899.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lambeth between 1900 and 1906.¹

     Sir Reginald Ambrose Mowbray, 3rd Bt. was born on 5 April 1852.¹ He was the son of Sir John Robert Mowbray, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Mowbray.² He died on 30 December 1916 at age 64, unmarried.¹
     He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Mowbray, of Mortimer, Berks and Bishopwearmouth, co. Durham [U.K., 1880] on 23 July 1916.¹

     Reverend Sir Edmund George Lionel Mowbray, 4th Bt. was born on 26 June 1859.¹ He was the son of Sir John Robert Mowbray, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Mowbray.² He married Caroline Elwes Field, daughter of Lt.-Gen. George T. Field, on 27 January 1891.¹ He died on 2 February 1919 at age 59.¹
     He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was Rector between 1890 and 1892 at Durley, Hampshire, England.¹ He was Vicar between 1892 and 1906 at St. Bartholomew, Charlton-in-Dover, Kent, England.¹ He was Vicar between 1908 and 1909 at Freeland, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He was Vicar between 1909 and 1917 at St.Michael and All Angels, Brighton, Sussex, England.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Mowbray, of Mortimer, Berks and Bishopwearmouth, co. Durham [U.K., 1880] on 30 December 1916.¹

     Annie Maud Mowbray was the daughter of Sir John Robert Mowbray, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Mowbray.² She married Reverend Charles Thomas Cruttwell on 5 August 1884.¹ She died on 29 October 1926.¹
     From 5 August 1884, her married name became Cruttwell.

     Reverend Charles Thomas Cruttwell married Annie Maud Mowbray, daughter of Sir John Robert Mowbray, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Mowbray, on 5 August 1884.¹ He died on 4 April 1911.¹
     He was Rector at Ewelme, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He held the office of Canon Residentiary of Peterborough.¹

     Edith Marian Mowbray was the daughter of Sir John Robert Mowbray, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Mowbray.² She died on 27 March 1933, unmarried.¹

     Lt.-Gen. George T. Field gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Caroline Elwes Field was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. George T. Field.² She married Reverend Sir Edmund George Lionel Mowbray, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Robert Mowbray, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Mowbray, on 27 January 1891.¹ She died on 18 March 1941.¹
     From 27 January 1891, her married name became Mowbray.
