     Her married name became Shaw.

     He gained the rank of Ensign.¹

     Charles Shaw was the son of Alexander Shaw of Tordarroch, 10th Chief of Clan Ay and Anne Elizabeth Blanckley.² He died in 1804, drowned in Glenluce Bay.¹
     He gained the rank of Ensign in the 91st Foot (Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 17th Foot (Leicestershire Regiment.)¹

     Colonel Claudius Shaw was born on 12 February 1791.¹ He was the son of Alexander Shaw of Tordarroch, 10th Chief of Clan Ay and Anne Elizabeth Blanckley.² He married Archange Mackintosh, daughter of Angus Mackintosh, 25th of Mackintosh and Mary Archange Baudry dit Desbuttes dit Saint-Martin, in 1817.¹ He died on 10 February 1875 at age 83.¹
     He was educated at Royal Military College, Marlow, Buckinghamshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Cadet in 1805 in the Royal Regiment of Artillery.¹ He was commissioned in 1809.¹ He fought in the Peninsular Wars between 1812 and 1814.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel of Artillery between 1835 and 1837 in the British Legion to Spain.² He was awarded the Gold Medal for the taking of Irun.¹ He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.) in 1874.¹ He had five sons and three daughters.¹

     George Alexander Seymour was born in 1815.¹ He was the son of Reverend George Turner Seymour and Marianne Billingsley.¹ He died on 3 July 1838.¹

     Jo Alice Tamlyn Ripsher was the daughter of Harold Swan Ripsher. She and Robert J. Tamlyn were divorced.¹ She married, firstly, Robert J. Tamlyn.¹ She married, secondly, Dr. John Wedgwood, son of Hon. Josiah Wedgwood and Dorothy Mary Winser, on 20 May 1972.² She died circa November 2017.¹
     Her married name became Tamlyn.¹ From 20 May 1972, her married name became Wedgwood.

     Duncan William Shaw was born in 1783.¹ He was the son of Alexander Shaw of Tordarroch, 10th Chief of Clan Ay and Anne Elizabeth Blanckley.² He married unknown daughter Robertson.¹ He died on 25 September 1838.¹
     He was commissioned in 1811 with the rank of officer, in the service of the HEIC’s Bengal Army.¹ He gained the rank of Major in 1834.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 20th Bengal Native Infantry.¹ He gained the rank of commander between 1837 and 1838 in the Brigade at Baroda.¹
