     He was a linen bleacher and merchant.2 Circa 1789 He built Bernagh.2 He lived circa 1789 at Bernagh, County Tyrone, Ireland.2

     William Greeves was born circa 1719.1 He was the son of John Greer and Mary Whitsitt.2 He married Mary Morton, daughter of James Morton and Sarah Whitsitt, on 20 May 1744.1 He died on 3 May 1776.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 11 October 1776.1
     He was given the name of William Greer at birth.1 He was a merchant, tanner and farmer.1 He was a Trustee of the Friends’ Meeting House in Grange.1 On 20 May 1744 his name was legally changed to William Greeves.1 He lived at Grange, County Tyrone, Ireland.1 His last will was dated 27 April 1776.1
