     Joan Clare Baker was born in 1916 at Marylebone, London, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Walter Bernard Baker and Milicent Emerson.¹ She married John Mervyn Guthrie Griffith-Jones, son of John Stanley Griffith-Jones and Eveline L. Yarrow, in 1954 at Marylebone, London, England^G.¹ She died in 1988 at London, England^G.¹
     From 1954, her married name became Griffith-Jones.¹

     Margaret Elizabeth MacGregor Greer was born on 22 October 1897.¹ She was the daughter of Major Thomas MacGregor Greer and Dorinda Florence Lowry.² She married Lt.-Gen. Arthur Ernest Percival, son of Alfred Reginald Percival, on 27 July 1927.¹ She died on 5 October 1953 at age 55.¹
     From 27 July 1927, her married name became Percival.

     Alfred Reginald Percival lived at Aspenden Lodge, Buntingford, Hertfordshire, England.¹

     Lt.-Gen. Arthur Ernest Percival is the son of Alfred Reginald Percival.³ He married Margaret Elizabeth MacGregor Greer, daughter of Major Thomas MacGregor Greer and Dorinda Florence Lowry, on 27 July 1927.¹
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He lived at Ware, Hertfordshire, England^G.⁴ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹ He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) and bar.¹

     John Mervyn Guthrie Griffith-Jones is the son of John Stanley Griffith-Jones and Eveline L. Yarrow.² He married Joan Clare Baker, daughter of Walter Bernard Baker and Milicent Emerson, in 1954 at Marylebone, London, England^G.¹
     He was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.)¹ He held the office of Judge.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹

     Helena MacGregor Greer was born on 23 September 1865.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Greer and Margaret Owden.² She married Admiral Sir Robert Swinburne Lowry, son of Lt.-Gen. Robert William Lowry and Emily Rohesia Ward, on 12 December 1893.¹ She died on 28 December 1948 at age 83.¹

     Admiral Sir Robert Swinburne Lowry was the son of Lt.-Gen. Robert William Lowry and Emily Rohesia Ward. He married Helena MacGregor Greer, daughter of Thomas Greer and Margaret Owden, on 12 December 1893.¹ He died on 29 May 1920.¹
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹
