     She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ She gained the rank of Major in the Manchester regiment.¹ From 19 September 1903, her married name became Marsdon.¹

     William John Murray Marsdon is the son of Lt.-Col. William Marsden.¹ He married Geraldine Veronica Maitland, daughter of David Maitland and Ellinor Frances Scott, on 19 September 1903.¹

     William David Murray Marsdon was born on 6 August 1912.¹ He was the son of William John Murray Marsdon and Geraldine Veronica Maitland.¹ He died in October 1935 at age 23.¹

     Joan Ellinor Marsdon is the daughter of William John Murray Marsdon and Geraldine Veronica Maitland.¹

     Cecil Louise MacKenzie is the daughter of Colin James MacKenzie, 4th of Portmore.¹ She married Major Claud Archibald Scott Maitland, son of David Maitland and Ellinor Frances Scott, on 12 June 1912.¹
     From 12 June 1912, her married name became Maitland.¹

     Paul Baron married Betty (?) before 1975.¹ He died before 1975.¹

     Adam Maitland of Dundrennan was born in 1913.² He is the son of Major Claud Archibald Scott Maitland and Cecil Louise MacKenzie.² He married Hope Baillie Fraser-Campbell.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.² He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.²

     Catherine Mary Maitland was born on 28 March 1915.^1,2 She was the daughter of Major Claud Archibald Scott Maitland and Cecil Louise MacKenzie.¹ She married Admiral Sir Nigel Stuart Henderson, son of Lt.-Col. Selby Herriott Henderson, in 1939.² She died on 18 July 2010 at age 95 at Hensol, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland^G.²
     From 1939, her married name became Henderson.²

     Margaret Alice Mary Wade was the daughter of Reverend William Serocold Wade. She married Sir Charles Lawrence Young, 7th Bt., son of Sir William Lawrence Young, 4th Bt. and Caroline Norris, on 3 August 1871.¹ She died on 21 January 1923.
     From 3 August 1871, her married name became Young.

     Margaret Gordon married John Maitland, son of William Maitland and Mary McMichen, in 1704.¹
     She lived at Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland.¹ From 1704, her married name became Maitland.¹
