     Amy Elizabeth Bell was born on 13 February 1859.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Bell and Charlotte Erskine Goodeve.² She died on 11 March 1920 at age 61, unmarried.¹

     Lady Eliza Philadelphia Erskine Goodeve was born in 1834.¹ She was the daughter of William James Goodeve and Lady Frances Jemima Erskine.² She married Reverend Edward Maule Cole on 14 August 1862.¹ She died on 15 March 1917.¹
     From 14 August 1862, her married name became Cole. On 15 October 1885 she was granted by Royal Warrant the rank of a daughter of a countess.²

     Reverend Edward Maule Cole married Lady Eliza Philadelphia Erskine Goodeve, daughter of William James Goodeve and Lady Frances Jemima Erskine, on 14 August 1862.¹ He died on 30 March 1911.¹
     He was the Vicar at Wetwang, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Major Seymour Hamilton Maule Cole was baptised on 21 October 1866 at Wetwang, Yorkshire, England.^1,2 He was the son of Reverend Edward Maule Cole and Lady Eliza Philadelphia Erskine Goodeve.³ He married Lillian May Sullivan, daughter of Michael Sullivan, in 1892.¹ He died on 10 December 1938 at age 72.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the ISR Rifles.¹ He was awarded the Royal Officers’ Decoration (V.D.)¹ He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches.³

     Lillian May Sullivan was the daughter of Michael Sullivan.² She married Major Seymour Hamilton Maule Cole, son of Reverend Edward Maule Cole and Lady Eliza Philadelphia Erskine Goodeve, in 1892.¹ She died on 9 October 1952.¹
     From 1892, her married name became Cole.

     Major Douglas Seymour Francis Erskine Maule-Cole was born on 15 September 1898.^1,2 He was the son of Major Seymour Hamilton Maule Cole and Lillian May Sullivan.³ He was also reported to have been married in 1924.¹ He and Iris Violet Broome were divorced in 1935.¹ He married, secondly, Rosa Florence Bartley, daughter of Lieutenant Stanley George Bartley, in 1942 at St. Margaret, Westminster, London, England.^1,4 He married Iris Violet Broome, daughter of Colonel George Simpson Broome and Violet Elizabeth Emma Wallace, in 1918 at Paddington, London, England.⁴ He died in January 1985 at age 86 at Bournemouth, Hampshire, England.^1,2
     He was Lieutenant.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Machine Gun Corps.³ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Flying Corps.³ He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the Reserve of Air Force Officers.³ He fought in the Second World War.³ He gained the rank of Major in the Indian Army.³

     Colonel George Simpson Broome was born on 10 December 1862.² He was the son of William Roche Broome and Emily Hosener.² He was baptised on 12 May 1863 at Secunderabad, Madras, India^G.² He married Violet Elizabeth Emma Wallace, daughter of Robert Ouyram Wallace and Lambertine Cavagnari, in 1896 at Kensington, London, England^G.² He died on 7 February 1934 at age 71.²
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Indian Army.¹

     Iris Violet Broome was born on 1 September 1901 at India^G.² She was the daughter of Colonel George Simpson Broome and Violet Elizabeth Emma Wallace.^3,2 She was also reported to have been married in 1924.¹ She and Major Douglas Seymour Francis Erskine Maule-Cole were divorced in 1935.¹ She married Major Douglas Seymour Francis Erskine Maule-Cole, son of Major Seymour Hamilton Maule Cole and Lillian May Sullivan, in 1918 at Paddington, London, England.⁴ She died in 1972 at Brighton, Sussex, England^G.¹
     From 1924, her married name became Maule-Cole.
