     Jane Caroline Hotham was born circa 1849.² She was the daughter of Commander John William Hotham and Sarah Eliza Hawksley.³ She married Lt.-Col. William Henry Miller Francklyn, son of Edward Francklyn and Frances de Crespigny Miller, on 27 July 1876.¹ She died in 1884.¹
     From 27 July 1876, her married name became Francklyn.

     Lt.-Col. William Henry Miller Francklyn was born on 26 January 1845 at Tilford House, Farnham, Surrey, England.² He was the son of Edward Francklyn and Frances de Crespigny Miller.² He married, firstly, Jane Caroline Hotham, daughter of Commander John William Hotham and Sarah Eliza Hawksley, on 27 July 1876.¹ He married, secondly, Alice Bairnsfather on 17 October 1887 at Bombay, India.² He died on 13 December 1915 at age 70 at Brantingham, Yorkshire, England.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Madras Army.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel on 4 December 1887.²

     Violet Elizabeth Emma Wallace was born in 1875 at London, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Ouyram Wallace and Lambertine Cavagnari.¹ She married Colonel George Simpson Broome, son of William Roche Broome and Emily Hosener, in 1896 at Kensington, London, England^G.¹ She died in 1957 at Sussex, England^G.¹
     From 1896, her married name became Broome.¹

     Louis George Broome was born on 1 August 1897 at Quetta, Bengal, India^G.¹ He was the son of Colonel George Simpson Broome and Violet Elizabeth Emma Wallace.¹ He died on 5 June 1915 at age 17, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Scots.¹

     Denis Hollingworth lived at Hollingworth Hall, Cheshire, England.¹

     Matilda Anne Hollingworth was the daughter of Denis Hollingworth.² She married Commander John William Hotham, son of Sir William Hotham and Anne Jeynes, on 21 November 1874.¹ She died in 1896.¹
     From 21 November 1874, her married name became Hotham.

     Jane Seymour Colman was the daughter of Francis Colman.¹ She married, firstly, Roger Pettiward before 1835.¹ She married, secondly, Sir William Hotham, son of General George Hotham and Diana Pennyman, on 25 June 1835.¹ She died on 30 November 1855, without issue.¹
     From before 1835, her married name became Pettiward.¹ From 25 June 1835, her married name became Hotham.
