Thomas Stokes George Hugh Robertson-Aikman was born on 25 February 1860 at Leicester, Leicestershire, England.2 He was the son of Hugh Henry Robertson-Aikman and Mary Joyce Stokes.2 He married Constance Henrietta Middleton, daughter of John A. Middleton, in 1899 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.2 He died on 18 April 1948 at age 88.2
     He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1880 in the 1st Royal Lanarkshire Regiment.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He lived at The Ross and Broomhilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland.3
