     Janet Stevenson Bennett McGrigor was the daughter of Alexander Bennett McGrigor of Cairnoch.² She married Matthew Arthur of Carlung, 1st Baron Glenarthur, son of James Arthur of Carlung and Jane Glen, on 8 July 1879.¹ She died on 3 October 1946.¹
     She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Ayrshire.¹ She graduated with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.)¹ From 8 July 1879, her married name became Arthur. After her marriage, Janet Stevenson Bennett McGrigor was styled as Baroness Glenarthur on 27 June 1918.

     Admiral Sir Sidney Julius Meyrick married Judith Fullerton, daughter of Admiral Sir John Reginald Thomas Fullerton and Ada Capell, on 11 September 1901.¹

     Patricia Valerie Haye married Nigel Arthur Bruen, son of John Martin Bruen and Marjorie Elaine Margaret Holliss, in 1999.¹
     From 1999, her married name became Bruen.¹

     Hon. John Hamilton, son of Colonel Claud Lorn Campbell Hamilton and Veronica Boswell, on 19 December 1944.¹ She and Lt.-Cdr. John Hamilton were divorced in 1951.¹ She married, thirdly, William Hamilton Robertson-Aikman, son of Lt.-Col. Thomas Stokes George Hugh Robertson-Aikman, on 4 April 1951.¹ She died in 1977.¹
     From 6 October 1927, her married name became Rudd. From 19 December 1944, her married name became Hamilton.¹ From 4 April 1951, her married name became Robertson-Aikman.¹

     Jack Drummond Rudd is the son of Percy Rudd.² He married Hon. Pamela Helen Arthur, daughter of James Cecil Arthur of Carlung, 2nd Baron Glenarthur and Evelyn March Phillipps, on 6 October 1927.¹ He and Hon. Pamela Helen Arthur were divorced in 1944.¹ He married Anne Marie Dennis, daughter of Etienne Dennis, before 1957.²

     Hon. Elizabeth Muriel Arthur was the daughter of Matthew Arthur of Carlung, 1st Baron Glenarthur and Janet Stevenson Bennett McGrigor.² She married Major Ian Archibald Finlay on 28 July 1904.¹ She died in January 1960.¹
     From 28 July 1904, her married name became Finlay.

     Major Ian Archibald Finlay married Hon. Elizabeth Muriel Arthur, daughter of Matthew Arthur of Carlung, 1st Baron Glenarthur and Janet Stevenson Bennett McGrigor, on 28 July 1904.¹
