     Margaret Balfour was baptised on 20 March 1807 at St. Cuthbert, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.2 She was the daughter of James Balfour, 4th of Pilrig and Anne Mackintosh.1 She married Rt. Rev. John Paul on 9 December 1830 at St. Cuthbert, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1,2 She died on 27 January 1860 at age 52.1
     From 9 December 1830, her married name became Paul.1
