Sir George Arthur French and Janet Clarke Innes.² She married, firstly, Captain Telford Mackenzie Young on 24 February 1902.¹ She married, secondly, Hon. William Herbert Wood on 2 November 1909.¹ She died on 19 February 1949 at age 73.¹
     From 24 February 1902, her married name became Young. From 2 November 1909, her married name became Wood.¹

     Captain Telford Mackenzie Young married Lilian McKenzie French, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir George Arthur French and Janet Clarke Innes, on 24 February 1902.¹ He died in 1906.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 16th Royal Lancers.¹

     Rt. Rev. John Paul was born on 12 March 1796.¹ He married Margaret Balfour, daughter of James Balfour, 4th of Pilrig and Anne Mackintosh, on 9 December 1830 at St. Cuthbert, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.^1,2 He died on 18 May 1873 at age 77.¹

     From 29 January 1902, her married name became Sinclair-Maclagan.¹

     Janet Mabel French was born on 1 February 1882.¹ She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir George Arthur French and Janet Clarke Innes.² She died on 25 July 1887 at age 5.¹

     Maria Dominique Pauline Armande Vico was born in 1854 at Ajaccio, Corsica, France^G.¹ She married Henri Emilien Toussaint Dalmas de Lapérouse, son of Théobald Dalmas de Lapérouse and Barbara Louisa St. John, on 6 May 1872 at Ajaccio, Corsica, France^G.¹ She died on 3 December 1881 at Toulon, France^G.¹
     From 6 May 1872, her married name became Dalmas de Lapérouse.¹

     Reginald Hugh de Freyne French was born on 20 October 1901.¹ He was the son of Colonel George Arthur French and Annie Elizabeth Jefferies.^2,1 He died on 19 April 1926 at age 24 at Switzerland^G, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. Maurice French was born on 21 February 1903.¹ He was the son of Colonel George Arthur French and Annie Elizabeth Jefferies.^2,1 He married Diana Margaret Honoria Stack, daughter of Reverend Charles Robert Rowan Stack and Eliza Hester Rowan, on 4 June 1935.¹ He died on 14 November 1943 at age 40 at Leros, Greece^G, killed in action.¹
