     Acton Tindal was born on 20 July 1811 at Aylesford, Buckinghamshire, England.^1,2 He was the son of Thomas Tindal and Anne Chaplin.¹ He married Henrietta Euphemia Harrison, daughter of Reverend John Harrison, on 30 July 1846.¹ He died on 26 October 1880 at age 69 at Buckinghamshire, England.^1,2
     He lived at The Manor House, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England^G.³

     Henrietta Euphemia Harrison was the daughter of Reverend John Harrison.¹ She married Acton Tindal, son of Thomas Tindal and Anne Chaplin, on 30 July 1846.² She died on 6 May 1879.¹
     From 30 July 1846, her married name became Tindal.²

     Anne Eliza Tindal was born on 25 January 1810 at Aylesford, Buckinghamshire, England.² She was the daughter of Thomas Tindal and Anne Chaplin.¹ She married Sir John de Veuille on 5 November 1829.¹ She died on 19 February 1851 at age 41 at St. helier, Jersey, Channel Islands.^1,2
     From 5 November 1829, her married name became de Veuille.¹

     Sir John de Veuille was born in 1801.² He married Anne Eliza Tindal, daughter of Thomas Tindal and Anne Chaplin, on 5 November 1829.¹ He died in 1846.²
     He held the office of Bailiff of Jersey.¹

     William Henry Havelock was born on 8 December 1826 at Bhooj, Bombay, India^G.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Havelock and Caroline Elizabeth Chaplin.¹ He married Augusta Caroline Anne Waller, daughter of Surg.-Maj. Thomas Waller and Alicia Anne Gilbert, on 8 January 1857 at Belgaum, Bombay, India.¹ He died on 1 November 1876 at age 49 at Bombay, India^G.¹
     He was with the Bombay Civil Service.¹ He was appointed Knight, Hanoverian Order (K.H.)² He was Acting Commissioner of Sind between 1867 and 1868.¹

     Caroline Louisa Jane Havelock was born on 28 July 1828 at Bombay, India^G.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. William Havelock and Caroline Elizabeth Chaplin.¹ She died on 18 October 1868 at age 40, unmarried.²

     Major Acton Chaplin Havelock was born on 28 May 1838 at Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa^G.^1,2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Havelock and Caroline Elizabeth Chaplin.¹ He married Ada Isabella Stransham, daughter of General Sir Anthony Blaxland Stransham and Eliza Combe, on 13 January 1877 at Bolarum, Deccan, India^G.¹ He died on 5 September 1914 at age 76 at Southlands, Worthing, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Arthur Elphinstone Havelock was born on 2 January 1841.^1,2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Havelock and Caroline Elizabeth Chaplin.¹ He died on 6 February 1843 at age 2, aboard the steamer Oriental.¹
