     William Arthur Chaplin Havelock was born on 25 July 1890 at Brentford, London, England.^1,2 He was the son of Major Acton Chaplin Havelock and Ada Isabella Stransham.¹ He died on 19 July 1923 at age 32 at St. Thomas Mount, Madras, India, unmarried.²
