     Hazel Ailsa Havelock McCulloch was born illegitimately on 26 January 1918 at Hove, Sussex, England^G.² She is the daughter of Herbert James McCulloch and Ailsa Goldeburgh Havelock.² She married William John Thomson on 18 December 1941 at Sydney, New South Waes, Australia.¹
     From 18 December 1941, her married name became Thomson.¹
