     Thomas fitz Thomas was the son of Thomas fitz John, 13th Knight of Glin.2 He married Elinor Bourke, daughter of William Bourke, 1st Baron Bourke of Connell.1 He died in 1569 at Limerick, County Limerick, IrelandG, and was executed for committing sundry wilful murders and burnings.1 He was buried at Lislaughton Abbey, IrelandG.1

Edmond fitz Thomas, 14th Knight of Glin1

     Edmond fitz Thomas, 14th Knight of Glin is the son of Thomas fitz Thomas and Elinor Bourke.2 He married Honora McCarthy, daughter of Sir Owen McCarthy Reagh, in 1586.1
     He succeeded as the 14th Knight of Glin circa 1572.1 He lived in 1581 at Castletown, County Limerick, IrelandG.1 In 1583 he held some castles in Kenry.1 In 1588 he petitioned to be restored to lands of his father and grandfather.1 On 13 June 1588 he was restored to the Castle and Manor of Glancorbry (Glin) by Letters Patent, but not to the Lordship of Kenry or the Manor of Cappagh.1 From 1599 to 1600 he was in rebellion.1 He fought in the Siege of Glin in 1600, where he was defeated.1 He escaped and was one of the last Chiefs to support his kinsman the ‘Sugane’ Earl of Desmond at Kinsale (where he was wounded.)1 In 1603 he was pardoned.1 In 1615 he rebuilt Glin.1
