     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for New Ross between 1807 and 1812.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wexford between 1820 and 1826.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for New Ross between 1821 and 1823.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for New Ross between 1826 and 1830.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wexford between 1830 and 1831.2 He was director of Honourable East India Company Service.2

     Anne Wigram was born on 22 February 1796.2 She was the daughter of Sir Robert Wigram, 1st Bt. and Eleanor Watts.1 She married Reverend Joseph Arkwright, son of Richard Arkwright and Mary Simpson, on 29 October 1818 at Walthamstow, Essex, England.2,3 She died on 20 May 1860 at age 64.1 She was also reported to have died on 21 May 1863.2
     From 29 October 1818, her married name became Arkwright.1
