     Reverend Joseph Arkwright was born on 9 August 1791 at Bakewell, Derbyshire, England.2 He was the son of Richard Arkwright and Mary Simpson.2 He married Anne Wigram, daughter of Sir Robert Wigram, 1st Bt. and Eleanor Watts, on 29 October 1818 at Walthamstow, Essex, England.3,2 He died on 24 February 1864 at age 72.1 He was also reported to have died on 23 February 1864.3
     He lived at Markhall, Essex, England.1 He lived at Normanton Turville, Leicestershire, England.1
