     Richard Fitzherbert was born on 3 August 1775.2 He was the son of John Ruxton and Margaret Edgeworth.3,4 He married Elizabeth Selina Staples, daughter of Sir Robert Staples, 7th Bt. and Hon. Jane Vesey, on 10 January 1807.1 He died in 1840.5
     He was given the name of Richard Ruxton at birth.2 His name was legally changed to Richard Fitzherbert.2 He lived at Black Castle, County Meath, IrelandG.2
