Ethel Laura Brooks, daughter of William Brooks, 2nd Baron Crawshaw of Crawshaw and Mary Ethel Hicks-Beach, on 19 November 1925.¹ He died on 13 June 1961 at age 86.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He graduated from King’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1896 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He graduated from King’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1899 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.² He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1916.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)² He was appointed Knight Bachelor (K.B.) in 1939.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Leicestershire Regiment (Territorial Forces.)² He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire in 1949.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Leicestershire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Leicestershire.² He lived at The Brand, Loughborough, Leicestershire, England^G.¹

     George Durrant Howes lived at Stoven, Suffolk, England^G.¹

     Sir Harry Bullard held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)¹

     J. F. Cooper married Mabel Thompson, daughter of William Thompson, before 1929.¹ He died before 1929.¹

     F/Lt. Michael Holmes married Gillian Sara Carloyn Bayford, daughter of Richard Hayter Bayford and Hon. Hilda Elizabeth Mary Croft, in 1958.¹
     He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force.¹

     Elizabeth Lewis was the daughter of David Lewis.¹ She married Rev. Sir Herbert Croft, 5th Bt., son of Herbert Croft and Elizabeth Young, on 25 February 1795.¹ She died in September 1815.¹
     From 25 February 1795, her married name became Croft.¹
