     Sir Everard Home was born on 6 May 1756.2,3 He was the son of Robert Byrne Home and Mary Hutchinson.2 He married Jane Tunstall, daughter of Rev. Dr. James Tunstall.1 He died on 31 August 1832 at age 76.2,3
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1 He was Serjeant-Surgeon to King George III.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) in 1787.3 He was awarded the Copley Medal in 1807.3
