     Albinia Bertie was the daughter of Lord Vere Bertie and Ann Casey.^1,3 She married George Hobart, 3rd Earl of Buckinghamshire, son of John Hobart, 1st Earl of Buckinghamshire and Elizabeth Bristow, on 16 May 1757 at Chislehurst, Kent, England^G.³ She died on 11 March 1816 at Nocton, Lincolnshire, England^G.³ Her will was proven (by probate) in July 1818.³
     Her married name became Hobart. After her marriage, Albinia Bertie was styled as Countess of Buckinghamshire on 3 August 1793.

     Robert Hobart, 4th Earl of Buckinghamshire was born on 6 May 1760.¹ He was the son of George Hobart, 3rd Earl of Buckinghamshire and Albinia Bertie. He married, firstly, Margaretta Bourke, daughter of Edmund Bourke, on 4 January 1792.¹ He married, secondly, Hon. Eleanor Agnes Eden, daughter of William Eden, 1st Baron Auckland and Eleanor Elliot, on 1 June 1799 at Lambeth Palace, Lambeth, London, England^G.³ He died on 4 February 1816 at age 55 at Hamilton Place, London, England^G, from a fall from his horse, without male issue.³ He was buried at Nocton, Lincolnshire, England^G.³

     Hon. George Vere Hobart was born in 1761.¹ He was the son of George Hobart, 3rd Earl of Buckinghamshire and Albinia Bertie.¹ He married, firstly, Jane Cataneo, daughter of Horace Cataneo.¹ He married, secondly, Janet Maclean, daughter of Colonel Alexander Roy MacLean, 15th of Coll and Catherine Cameron, on 26 April 1802.¹ He died on 5 December 1802.¹
     He held the office of Lieutenant-Governor of Canada.¹

     Jane Cataneo is the daughter of Horace Cataneo.¹ She married Hon. George Vere Hobart, son of George Hobart, 3rd Earl of Buckinghamshire and Albinia Bertie.¹
     Her married name became Hobart.

     Janet Maclean is the daughter of Colonel Alexander Roy MacLean, 15th of Coll and Catherine Cameron.^1,2 She married Hon. George Vere Hobart, son of George Hobart, 3rd Earl of Buckinghamshire and Albinia Bertie, on 26 April 1802.¹
     Her married name became Hobart.

     Colonel Alexander Roy MacLean, 15th of Coll was born circa 1754.² He was the son of Hugh Maclean, 14th of Coll and Janet Macleod. He married Catherine Cameron, daughter of Allan Cameron, 5th of Glendessary and Acharm and Sibella Maclean, on 27 March 1780.² He died on 10 April 1835.²
     He lived at Coll, Argyllshire, Scotland^G.¹

     George Robart Hampden-Hobart, 5th Earl of Buckinghamshire was born on 1 May 1789.¹ He was the son of Hon. George Vere Hobart and Jane Cataneo.² He married Anne Glover Pigot, daughter of Sir Arthur Pigot, on 3 May 1819 at St. Gile’s-in-the-Fields Church, London, England^G.² He died on 1 February 1849 at age 59, without issue.¹
     He was given the name of George Robert Hobart at birth.¹ He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England^G.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for St. Michael’s between 1812 and 1813.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Hobart, of Intwood, Norfolk [E., 1611] on 4 February 1816.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baron Hobart of Blickling, Norfolk [G.B., 1728] on 4 February 1816.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Buckinghamshire [G.B., 1746] on 4 February 1816.¹ On 5 October 1824 his name was legally changed to George Robert Hampden-Hobart by Royal Licence.¹

     Augustus Edward Hobart-Hampden, 6th Earl of Buckinghamshire was born on 1 November 1793.¹ He was the son of Hon. George Vere Hobart and Jane Cataneo.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Williams, daughter of John Williams, on 12 September 1816.¹ He married, secondly, Maria Isabella Egremont, daughter of Reverend Godfrey Egremont and unknown Cataneo, on 15 August 1826.¹ He died on 29 October 1885 at age 91 at Hampden House, Buckinghamshire, England^G.² He was buried at Sidmouth, Devon, England^G.² His will was proven (by probate) on 24 March 1886, at £32,747.²
