     Arthur Egerton Cotton was born on 8 March 1876.¹ He was the son of Charles Calveley Cotton and Kate de la Rue.² He married Beryl Marie Cumming, daughter of Henry Jack Cumming and Marie de la Rue, on 1 July 1909.¹ He died on 10 June 1922 at age 46.¹
     He was commander of the 11th Service Battalion, Rifle Brigade.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.¹

     Henry Jack Cumming is the son of Admiral Sir Arthur Cumming.² He married Marie de la Rue.²

     Beryl Marie Cumming was baptised on 24 January 1888 at Scropton, Derbyshire, England.² She was the daughter of Henry Jack Cumming and Marie de la Rue.^3,2 She married, firstly, Arthur Egerton Cotton, son of Charles Calveley Cotton and Kate de la Rue, on 1 July 1909.¹ She married, secondly, John Lee Booker in 1923.¹ She died on 26 January 1966 at age 78.¹
     From 1 July 1909, her married name became Cotton. From 1923, her married name became Booker.¹

     Elizabeth Egerton Cotton was born on 9 November 1910.¹ She is the daughter of Arthur Egerton Cotton and Beryl Marie Cumming.² She married, firstly, Francis Mortimer Montgomery, son of Robert Mortimer Montgomery, on 21 February 1934.¹ She and Francis Mortimer Montgomery were divorced in 1949.¹ She married, secondly, Stafford William Somerfield, son of Albert George Somerfield and Bessie Rivett, on 1 May 1951.¹
     From 21 February 1934, her married name became Montgomery. From 1 May 1951, her married name became Somerfield.

     Robert Mortimer Montgomery was appointed King’s Counsel (K.C.)¹

     Francis Mortimer Montgomery is the son of Robert Mortimer Montgomery.² He married Elizabeth Egerton Cotton, daughter of Arthur Egerton Cotton and Beryl Marie Cumming, on 21 February 1934.¹ He and Elizabeth Egerton Cotton were divorced in 1949.¹

     John Ayrton Montgomery was born on 22 February 1935.¹ He is the son of Francis Mortimer Montgomery and Elizabeth Egerton Cotton.²
     He was the manager of City Magazines Ltd.¹ He was a director of Impress International Merchandising.¹

     Lt.-Cdr. Kenneth Patrick Bruce-Gardyne was born on 13 November 1933.¹ He is the son of Captain Evan Bruce-Gardyne, 13th of Middleton and Joan McLaren.¹ He married Angela Pauline Fane, daughter of Charles William Fane and Pauline Margaret Blackie, on 11 April 1964.¹
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)² He lived in 1972 at Nettlebed House, Droxford, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Meonstoke, Hampshire, England^G.³
