     Hon. Frederick Henry Hamilton Smith was born on 5 June 1887.¹ He was the son of Frederick Henry Smith, 1st Baron Colwyn and Elizabeth Ann Savage.² He married Hilda Ross, daughter of John Ross, on 14 October 1913.¹ He died on 7 January 1931 at age 43.¹
