     John Crichton Stuart McDouall was born on 5 July 1818.¹ He was the son of Reverend William McDouall and Euphemia Gaudin.¹ He married, firstly, Ellen Maria Fitzgerald, daughter of Robert Appleyard Fitzgerald, on 23 February 1841.¹ He married, secondly, Susan Mary Hartigan, daughter of Reverend Edward Hartigan, on 28 March 1864.¹ He died in January 1891 at age 72.¹
     He lived at New Freugh, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹

     Ellen Maria Fitzgerald was the daughter of Robert Appleyard Fitzgerald.¹ She married John Crichton Stuart McDouall, son of Reverend William McDouall and Euphemia Gaudin, on 23 February 1841.¹ She died on 10 September 1861.¹
     Her married name became McDouall.

     Susan Mary Hartigan was the daughter of Reverend Edward Hartigan.¹ She married John Crichton Stuart McDouall, son of Reverend William McDouall and Euphemia Gaudin, on 28 March 1864.¹ She died in 1906.¹

     Reverend William Sutherland McDouall was born on 27 June 1820 at Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, England^G.^2,3,4,5,6 He was the son of Reverend William McDouall and Euphemia Gaudin.⁷ He married Grace Maria Dalrymple-Hay, daughter of Sir James Dalrymple-Hay of Park Place, 2nd Bt. and Anne Hathorn, on 8 June 1854 at Old Luce, Wigtownshire, Scotland^G.⁸ He died on 9 August 1902 at age 82 at Ousden, Suffolk, England^G.^3,6

     Grace Maria Dalrymple-Hay was born on 16 February 1832 at Old Luce, Wigtownshire, Scotland^G.² She was the daughter of Sir James Dalrymple-Hay of Park Place, 2nd Bt. and Anne Hathorn.³ She married Reverend William Sutherland McDouall, son of Reverend William McDouall and Euphemia Gaudin, on 8 June 1854 at Old Luce, Wigtownshire, Scotland^G.² She died on 3 April 1923 at age 91.¹

     Reverend Patrick George McDouall was born on 10 September 1822.¹ He was the son of Reverend William McDouall and Euphemia Gaudin.¹ He married Caroline Jane Fisher, daughter of John Fisher and Caroline Gaudin, on 4 June 1851.¹ He died on 6 October 1904 at age 82.¹
     He was the Rector at Cosgrove, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Caroline Jane Fisher was the daughter of John Fisher and Caroline Gaudin.^1,2 She married Reverend Patrick George McDouall, son of Reverend William McDouall and Euphemia Gaudin, on 4 June 1851.¹ She died on 28 December 1884.¹
     Her married name became McDouall.

     John Fisher was born on 11 December 1792.² He was the son of Reverend Thomas Fisher and Joyce Wilkes.² He married Caroline Gaudin, daughter of Jean Gaudin.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy, of H.M.S. Arethusa.²
