     Robert Gray Elphinstone was born on 6 May 1872.¹ He was the son of Alexander Elphinstone of Glack and Margaret Rachel Roberts.² He married, firstly, Marion Stewart Stewart, daughter of Thomas Stewart, on 19 April 1910.¹ He married, secondly, Eleanor Sarah McTurk, daughter of George Gladstone McTurk, on 23 June 1937.¹ He died on 26 February 1947 at age 74, without issue.¹

     Thomas Stewart lived at British Columbia, Canada^G.¹

     Marion Stewart Stewart was the daughter of Thomas Stewart.² She married Robert Gray Elphinstone, son of Alexander Elphinstone of Glack and Margaret Rachel Roberts, on 19 April 1910.¹ She died on 5 November 1919.¹
     From 19 April 1910, her married name became Elphinstone.

     Alexis Elphinstone was born on 4 December 1873.¹ He was the son of Alexander Elphinstone of Glack and Margaret Rachel Roberts.^2,1 He married Ethel Margaret Cantlon, daughter of Louis M. Cantlon, on 12 July 1905.¹ He died on 20 February 1958 at age 84.³
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders.¹

     Louis M. Cantlon was a practising barrister.¹

     Ethel Margaret Cantlon was the daughter of Louis M. Cantlon.² She married Alexis Elphinstone, son of Alexander Elphinstone of Glack and Margaret Rachel Roberts, on 12 July 1905.¹ She died on 20 November 1946.¹
     From 12 July 1905, her married name became Elphinstone.¹

     Colin Anthony John Elphinstone was born on 27 June 1906.¹ He was the son of Alexis Elphinstone and Ethel Margaret Cantlon.² He married Margaret Douglas Fisher Palmer, daughter of Frederick Ramsay Palmer, on 25 October 1952.¹ He died in 1993 at Northumberland, England.³
