     Lesley McIntyre is the daughter of James Patrick McIntyre.1 She married William Allen Jowitt, 1st and last Earl Jowitt, son of Reverend William Jowitt and Louisa Margaret Allen, on 19 December 1913.1
     From 19 December 1913, her married name became Jowitt.1 After her marriage, Lesley McIntyre was styled as Baroness Jowitt on 2 August 1945. After her marriage, Lesley McIntyre was styled as Viscountess Jowitt on 20 January 1947. After her marriage, Lesley McIntyre was styled as Countess Jowitt on 24 December 1951.

     Lady Penelope Jowitt was born on 22 January 1923.1 She was the daughter of William Allen Jowitt, 1st and last Earl Jowitt and Lesley McIntyre.1 She married George Wynn-Williams, son of Dr. William Wynn-Williams, on 20 November 1943.1,2 She died on 29 October 2007 at age 84.3
     From 20 November 1943, her married name became Wynn-Williams.1

     He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force.1
