     Charles William Bury, 2nd Earl of Charleville was born on 29 April 1801.1 He was the son of Charles William Bury, 1st Earl of Charleville and Catherine Maria Dawson.2 He married Harriet Charlotte Beaujolais Campbell, daughter of John Campbell, 4th of Islay and of Woodhall and Lady Charlotte Susan Maria Campbell, on 26 February 1821 at Florence, ItalyG.1 He died on 14 July 1851 at age 50.1
     He lived Charleville Forest.3 He was educated between 1814 and 1819 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.4 He held the office of Sheriff of King’s County in 1825.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Carlow between 1826 and 1832.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Penryn and Falmouth between 1832 and 1835.1 He held the office of Lord of the Bedchamber from 1834 to 1835.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Tullamore of Charleville Forest, in King’s County [I., 1797] on 31 October 1835.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Charleville of Charleville Forest, in King’s County [I., 1800] on 31 October 1835.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Charleville [I., 1806] on 31 October 1835.1 He held the office of Representative Peer [Ireland] between 1838 and 1851.1
     T. Creevy called him “the greatest bore the world can produce.”1
