     Sir John Valentine Carden, 6th Bt. was born on 6 February 1892.¹ He was the son of Sir John Craven Carden, 5th Bt. and Sybil Martha Baker.² He married, firstly, Vera Madeleine Hervet-d’Egville, daughter of William Henry Hervet-d’Egville, on 18 September 1915.¹ He and Vera Madeleine Hervet-d’Egville were divorced in 1925.¹ He married, secondly, Dorothy Mary McKinnon, daughter of Charles Luckraft McKinnon, on 13 February 1925.¹ He died on 10 December 1935 at age 43, killed in an aeroplane accident.¹
     He gained the rank of Temporary Captain in the Royal Army Service Corps.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Carden, of Templemore, co. Tipperary [I., 1787] on 16 December 1931.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹

     Audrey Carden was born on 1 July 1897.¹ She was the daughter of Sir John Craven Carden, 5th Bt. and Sybil Martha Baker.² She died on 24 December 1936 at age 39, unmarried.¹

     Philip Christian Darnton was born on 30 October 1905 at Leeds, Yorkshire, West Riding, England^G.¹ He was the son of John Edward von Schunck and Mary Gertrude Illingworth.¹ He died on 14 April 1981 at age 75 at Hove, Sussex, England^G.²
     He was educated at Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.² He was a music teacher at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England^G.² He was educated at Royal College of Music, London, England^G.² He was assistant editor of The Music Lover between 1930 and 1934.² He was a composer.²

     Christopher M. Middleton was born in 1916 at Leeds, Yorkshire, England.² He is the son of Richard Noel Middleton and Olive Christiana Lupton.¹ He married Dorothy Martin in 1941 at Chelsea, London, England.²

     William Henry Hervet-d’Egville lived at Springbourne Lodge, Queen’s Park, Bournemouth, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Vera Madeleine Hervet-d’Egville is the daughter of William Henry Hervet-d’Egville.² She married Sir John Valentine Carden, 6th Bt., son of Sir John Craven Carden, 5th Bt. and Sybil Martha Baker, on 18 September 1915.¹ She and Sir John Valentine Carden, 6th Bt. were divorced in 1925.¹
     From 18 September 1915, her married name became Carden.

     Dorothy Mary McKinnon was the daughter of Charles Luckraft McKinnon.² She married Sir John Valentine Carden, 6th Bt., son of Sir John Craven Carden, 5th Bt. and Sybil Martha Baker, on 13 February 1925.¹
     From 13 February 1925, her married name became Carden.

     Francis Brodie of Milton and Inverlochtie was the son of Francis Brodie of Milton and Inverlochtie.¹ He married Barbara Johnstone.¹ He married Margaret Hay.¹ He married Lilias Dunbar, daughter of Alexander Dunbar of Grange and Jean Cockburn, in 1676.² He died in 1693.¹

     Sir Thomas Whichcote, 6th Bt. was the son of Sir Thomas Whichcote, 5th Bt. and Diana Turnor. He married Lady Sophia Sherard, daughter of Philip Sherard, 5th Earl of Harborough and Eleanor Monckton, on 9 April 1818.^1,2 He died on 23 August 1829.^1,3
     He gained the title of 6th Baronet Whichcote, of the Inner Temple, London [E., 1660].
